Physician – Psychiatry in Michigan

We’re seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join a collaborative Behavioral Health team in Alpena, Michigan. This full time role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, strong multidisciplinary support, and the opportunity to practice in a scenic waterfront community known for year round recreation, affordable living, and exceptional quality of life.

Highlights:

  • Full time employed Psychiatry position
  • Blend of 65% outpatient / 35% inpatient responsibilities
  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with Psychiatric Mental Health APPs, inpatient APPs, social workers, patient care navigators, and telepsychiatry support
  • Opportunities across the continuum of behavioral health services, including outpatient psychiatry, telepsychiatry, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and inpatient psychiatric care
  • Inpatient rotation approximately one week every three weeks
  • Average inpatient census of 8–10 patients
  • Night APP coverage available for first call support
  • Ability to customize patient panel based on provider interests and expertise
  • Outpatient schedule Monday–Friday
  • Highly competitive compensation plan with base salary + RVU based incentives
