Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: ASAP – Ongoing
  • Job Setting: Inpatient – ICU (24 beds)
  • Types of Cases: Rounding assigned patients; 15-25 patients per shift. Call coverage for unassigned patients; beeper call with 30-minute response time required. Approximately 3-5 phone consults and 10-15 patients seen on call. Call-back rate approximately 30%. Admissions required. Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers required. Facility is Stroke Certified (Level 3 Trauma Center). EMR: Medhost.
  • Credentialing: Estimated 30-day credentialing timeframe. Temporary privileges available.

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required. Fellowship: 2 years required.
  • Certifications: BLS required.
  • Licensure: Must be licensed in New Mexico (NM) only. IMLC not accepted. Facility will not reimburse licensing costs.
