Physician – Radiation Oncology in Michigan

We’re seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncology physician to join MyMichigan Health’s robust radiation oncology team in Alpena, Michigan. This full time role offers mentorship for new graduates, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to practice advanced, evidence based radiation oncology in a scenic waterfront community surrounded by forests, clear water, and year round outdoor recreation.

Highlights:

  • Full time Radiation Oncology opportunity open to practicing physicians and recent/new graduates
  • Mentorship available for new grads
  • Solo on site role supported by a strong, system wide radiation oncology team
  • Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator with a full complement of modern technology for state of the art, evidence based care
  • EPIC EMR
  • Annual new patient volume ~300 and increasing year over year
  • Daily treatment volume typically 15–25, averaging around 20
  • Primary diagnoses include breast, prostate, and lung
  • Weekly clinic mix includes 3–5 new consults and 9–12 follow ups, with room for added capacity
  • Experienced, growth oriented clinical staff
  • Monday–Friday schedule with some flexibility
  • 1:5 call rotation covering multiple sites
