Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 11/25/2026 – 11/30/2026; Call Only (Beeper); 30-minute call response time required; Call Ratio 1:1
  • Job Setting: Inpatient; Trauma Level 3 facility; Stroke Certified
  • Types of Cases:
    • General Surgery (Adult preferred)
    • Laparoscopic Surgery – Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty (all required); Nissen Fundoplication (preferred)
    • GI Endoscopy – Upper (preferred); Colonoscopy (preferred)
    • D&C (preferred)
    • Admissions required; approximately 10 patients per shift, 5 admissions, 5 phone consults; 99-bed department
    • 2 PA/NPs provided for support
  • Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days; Temporary privileges available; EMR: Cerner and Athena; Malpractice insurance provided by vendor

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
  • Certifications: ACLS required
  • Licensure: Must be licensed in TX only; IMLC not accepted
