  • Types of Cases: Complex primary and revision total joint arthroplasty (adult reconstruction); high-volume cases from strong referral base

Compensation & Benefits

  • $739K guaranteed salary (years 1-2); production model after 10,650 wRVUs
  • Straight production model year 3; earning potential $1M+
  • $100,000 recruitment incentive
  • $15,000 relocation assistance
  • 4 weeks PTO, 1 week CME, 6 paid holidays
  • $6,000 CME allowance

  • PSLF eligible

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: ABOS Board Certified or Board Eligible in Total Joint / Adult Reconstruction Orthopedic Surgery required (must become certified within 5 years); no exceptions
  • Certifications: BLS Certification (must maintain recertification)
  • Licensure: Valid Illinois & Iowa license or Active IMLC (willing to obtain) required; DEA required; unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications required
  • Fellowship: Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Total Joint Arthroplasty preferred
  • Degree: MD or DO
  • Additional: Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred; open to graduating fellows and experienced surgeons; no J-1 or H-1B visa support available
