Physician – Surgery – Orthopedic Surgery in Missouri

Are you an Orthopedic Surgery physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Missouri might be the perfect fit for you!

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: In-house call – 2 weekends per month ongoing (Friday 7am to Monday 7am). Starting August 1st, any 2 weekends per month. Facility will work around locum availability.
  • Job Setting: Level 2 Trauma Center with approximately 40,000 adult emergency visits. General & trauma orthopedic cases with approximately 8 hours of total patient facing time per day. 7am OR block each day.
  • Types of Cases: Orthopedic Trauma Call – general and trauma orthopedic cases
  • Credentialing: 60 days

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible minimum; Board Certification required
  • Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
  • Licensure: MO, will consider IMLC

Specialty Skills

  • Required: Arthroscopy, Total Joint Replacement (Hip, Knee, Other), Joint Revision or Repair (Shoulder, Hip, Knee), Hand, Tendon Release/Repair
  • Preferred: Peripheral Nerve Surgery
  • Fellowship: Level 2 Trauma experience acceptable
