Physician – Surgery – Orthopedic Surgery in Oregon

Are you an Orthopedic Surgery physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Oregon might be the perfect fit for you!

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Flexible options available – halftime (2-3 days a week) or 1 week on/1 week off. Typical schedule includes Monday OR coverage (7am-3pm or earlier), Tuesday-Thursday clinic (8am-5pm with flexibility to start at 9am or end at 4pm). Optional call coverage available: 8 days per month including weekends (weekday call 5pm-7am, weekend call 7am-7am). Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime after 8 hours.
  • Job Setting: Hospital – both OR and clinic
  • Types of Cases: Bread and butter orthopedics. 12-15 patient encounters per shift. Total joints are a bonus but not required. Trauma Level 4 facility.
  • Credentialing: 90 days

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency
  • Certifications: BLS
  • Licensure: Active OR license and OR DEA required
