Are you an Orthopaedic Spine Surgery physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Wisconsin might be the perfect fit for you!
Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with one hour unpaid lunch). Call shared with general ortho; locum will be the only spine surgeon on site.
- Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
- Types of Cases: Orthopaedic Surgery of the Spine. Required skills include cervical, thoracic, and lumbar surgery with instrumentation, and percutaneous disc surgery. Arthroscopy and surgery with instrumentation are preferred.
- Call: Beeper call; call ratio of 5 days/month; 20-minute call response time required; 0-4 patients seen on call; call shared with general ortho
- EMR: Cerner
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days; temporary privileges available
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible required; Fellowship required (3 years)
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
- Licensure: Wisconsin license required (IMLC not accepted)
