Physician – Surgery – Trauma in Arizona

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: October 2026 – February 2027; 4-6 twenty-four-hour call shifts per month; In-house call 6a-6a (Primary); Offsite 24-hour call 6a-6a (Backup); Call rotates every other day from Primary to Backup
  • Job Setting: Inpatient, Level I Trauma Center; 1955 W Frye Road, Chandler, AZ 85224
  • Types of Cases: Level 1 Trauma Service – Acute Care Surgery; Adult patient population; Admissions 40-80; 30-minute response time required when on backup call; EMR: Cerner; Support Staff: NP/PA
  • Credentialing: Approximately 90 days with a clean file; Emergency credentialing possible with a clean file; AZ License, MD/DO, and Medical Malpractice required; CV must be in chronological order MM/YYYY format; Applications must be submitted within 72 hours of receipt

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified in Surgical Critical Care and General Surgery – Required; Completion of Surgical Critical Care Fellowship – Required
  • Certifications: ATLS – Required; BLS – Highly Preferred (Required during credentialing); ACLS; DEA – Highly Preferred (Required during credentialing)
  • Licensure: Active Arizona License or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at time of submission) – Required; Minimum 2 years of recent Level 1 Trauma experience – Highly Preferred
