  • Schedule: ASAP – 12/31/2026; Day and Night Shifts; Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call (In-House)
  • Job Setting: Inpatient; Level I Trauma Center; 979-bed non-profit community hospital; 30 ORs with designated acute care block and trauma room
  • Types of Cases: Trauma surgery, emergency general surgery, and ICU/Surgical Critical Care; nearly 2,000 trauma activations annually; over 90,000 emergency visits annually. Preferred skills include general surgery (adult, pediatric, neonate), laparoscopic surgery, vascular surgery, GI endoscopy, ventilation management, central line insertion, chest tube insertion, and more.
  • EMR: Epic
  • Supervise Advanced Practice Providers: Yes (17 PA/NPs)
  • Credentialing: Estimated 30 days; temporary privileges not available

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required; Fellowship trained in Surgical Critical Care required
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • Licensure: Must be licensed in Missouri, will consider IMLC
