Physician – Surgery – Vascular Surgery in Colorado

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 24-hour call (7a-7a), including 4 gratis hours. Approximately 10-12 days per month. Specific stints:
    • Oct 2-4
    • Oct 7-11
    • Oct 30-Nov 1
    • Nov 20-22
    • Nov 25-29
    • Dec 24-27
    • Dec 31-Jan 3
    • Ongoing dates beginning Jan 2027 when schedules are released
  • Job Setting: Call, Trauma Level II; Inpatient; 250-bed facility; Adult and Geriatric patient population; 3-4 admissions per month
  • Types of Cases: Surgical treatment of blunt and other vascular trauma; Abdominal Open/Endovascular procedures
  • Credentialing: Standard credentialing; preapp and full app must be completed and submitted. Timeframe is 60-90 days, though site prefers to complete within 30 days. Emergency Temporary Privileges available within approximately one week. EMR (EPIC) modules and virtual training must be completed prior to first day. No credentialing with other facilities required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification in Vascular Surgery required
  • Certifications: Board Certified; Active DEA (highly preferred and required for credentialing; transferred DEA considered but must be maintained for the duration of the assignment)
  • Licensure: Active Colorado license or Active IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at time of submission) required
