Physician – Urology in Michigan

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation; 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week; August 2026 start preferred; 1 year or longer commitment
  • Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient; Clinic and OR
  • Types of Cases:
    • General Urology – Adult (Required), Pediatric (Preferred)
    • Laparoscopic Surgeries (Required)
    • Ureteroscopy (Required)
    • Renal and Bladder Ultrasound with Biopsy (Required)
    • TRUS Biopsies (Required)
    • Fertility Work-Up (Required)
    • Nephrectomy (Preferred)
    • Prostatectomy (Preferred)
    • Robotic Surgery (Preferred) – Da Vinci Xi Robot onsite
    • Incontinence Procedures (Preferred)
    • Admissions Required
    • Rounding: Assigned Patients; up to 20 patients per shift
  • Call: No Call
  • EMR System: Athena & Meditech
  • Credentialing: Estimated 30 days; temporary privileges available; MI License, MI CDS, and MI DEA required

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible minimum; Current certification or board eligible through the American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery – Urological Surgery
  • Certifications: ACLS required; Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship or foreign training in Urology; At least 50 urological procedures reflective of the scope of privileges requested during the past 12 months, or successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/clinical fellowship within the past 12 months
  • Licensure: Licensed in MI; MI CDS; MI DEA, will consider IMLC
