Physician – Urology in Pennsylvania

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts with 1-hour lunch); specific coverage dates include late August through mid-October
  • Job Setting: Outpatient Clinic
  • Types of Cases: Mixed cystoscopy/stent procedures with office visits; approximately 24-28 patients per day. Core procedures include:
    • Vasectomy
    • Vasectomy Reversal (not mandatory)
    • Cystoscopy (in OR)
    • Prostate Procedures
    • Ureteroscopy (in OR)
    • Penile Plication
    • Penile Implants (rare)
    • Lithotripsy
    • Circumcision (rare)
    • Orchiopexy
    • Robotic Surgery
    • Scope (if part of provider's practice; not required)
  • Patient Population: Adults 18 and older (with rare exception for emergency torsion presenting during call)
  • EMR System: EPIC
  • Support Staff: 4 Medical Assistants, 1 CSA, 1 RN
  • NP/PA Supervision: Required; new APPs on staff
  • Operating Rooms: 16 total
  • Office Equipment: Cystoscope and Towers, Injections
  • Credentialing: 90-day credentialing timeframe; temporary privileges available for clean files

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
  • Certifications: DEA required (PA address required)
  • Licensure: Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year
