What one piece of advice would you offer a new employee?
Don’t be afraid to push and challenge yourself outside of your comfort zone.

How have the people at VISTA helped you in your career path?
I have always felt supported when I wanted new challenges and opportunities. Colleagues and managers stepped up to support and help me, so I was prepared for what was next.

Reflecting on your time at VISTA, what is your favorite memory or personal milestone?
When I got my first 6+ month placement, it came after a very trying contract negotiation that was one of the greatest learning moments of my career.

What do you find rewarding or fulfilling about your role at VISTA?
I love the sense of empowerment to make good decisions for doctors, medical facilities, and my coworkers.

What one piece of advice would you offer a new employee?
If I had to offer advice to a new employee, I would say don’t get discouraged. It’s all about learning new things and creating your own way of doing things. What you think is most effective. It gets easier!

VISTA’s culture is unlike most companies I have worked for. VISTA likes to bring everyone together, whether it be Town Hall’s, charities or happy hour!
